Pure Sequence vs Normal Sequence

Sequences are the strongest playable hands in most Teen Patti rounds. Most players confuse pure sequences and normal sequences, leading to wrong showdown decisions and lost pots. Understanding the clear difference between these two hands will help you bet correctly, avoid mistakes, and maximize your winnings.

A Pure Sequence, also known as a straight flush, is three consecutive cards from the same suit. Examples include 10-J-Q of diamonds or 4-5-6 of clubs. The highest pure sequence in Teen Patti is Q-K-A, followed by A-2-3. Pure sequences rank second only to trails and beat every other hand type in the game.

A Normal Sequence is three consecutive cards with mixed suits. For example, one heart, one spade, and one club forming 7-8-9 is a valid normal sequence. It is still a very strong hand that beats all colors, pairs, and high cards. The only hands that defeat a normal sequence are pure sequences and trails.

Many beginners mistakenly believe all sequences are equal, which costs them wins. When two players hold sequences, pure always beats normal. In two pure sequences, the highest card decides the winner. In two normal sequences, the same high-card rule applies.
